Today, for the first time, I can call myself a Novelist. A real one, not a want-a-be or dreaming about it novelist. I can say that since my novel is out in the world and available for anyone, virtually anywhere, to read. And even if Amazon crashed or deleted it, I have a paperback right here next to me. Such an amazing feeling!
Warning: Ecstatic Novelist Below!
I don’t want to bombard you about my book. But in case you haven’t heard from me yet: if you buy the paperback for $10, you can get the ebook for free. And half of my net profits will go to animal rescue organizations. Here is the link if you want to check it out: Amazon Aquavit, A Novel
I haven’t posted anything for a while since not much happened that was ship or book related besides tedious editing. But things are finally looking up. I will be on a real clipper ship called the Star Flyer next week. Last year I found it while doing my book/cruise research and told my husband this is my ideal anniversary trip. Here is a link to their site: Star Clipper’s Website
Later I’ll share some photos, stories, and maybe a video from my one week home-away -from-home aboard a clipper. My writing battery is now fully charged, and I’m ready to continue my heroine’s gripping saga. Buckle up Muse, you are in for a ride!
